Highlight of our Italy trip

This is an amazing place - everything was beautifully done. The view is incredible (just like Santorini in Greece), the family is lovely and always eager to please, the apartments themselves are lovely and meticulously clean, with all sorts of extra comforts. The breakfast is great and each morning we were given fresh tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers etc from the family garden, even if we didn't need them. Even though it is a bit of a climb, there is a lift for baggage so no heavy lifting, free, safe parking on the road below, and best of all was the little beach directly across the road and down the steps from the house. Because you can only reach it by boat or by climbing down the steps, it's uncrowded and the water is deep, crystal clear and warm. The meal we had at the restaurant in the village up on the mountain just behind Positano itself was fantastic. The family will book it for you and the restaurant sends a car to pick you up from the B&B. The food was delicious and all made from scratch, with views to die from from the tables out over Positano and the sea.

Before I booked here for my 4 night stay, I read all the reviews already posted, and everything is really spot on. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is physically able to climb the stairs- the stair ARE what makes this place truly magical and special, because so many people opt not to stay here because of them, and the views are AMAZING! The Fusco family is absolutely wonderful. They are truly great hosts and will treat you to their homemade everything- lemoncello, fruits, honey, etc...

We spent 3 nights at Rifugio degli Dei and had a wonderful time! The view was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, the apartment was spacious & clean and, most of all, the Fusco family made us feel like family.

We booked this apartment for our honeymoon and hoped that it was as nice as the picturs on the internet. We were no disappointed in any way. The views were amazing !The aparrment is about 10 mins walk down the main road to Positano centreThe apartemtn is imaculatley clean and the lined was changed everyother day or so during our stay as where the bathroom towels. The family are lovely and do so much to make you feel welcome and show you the Italian way of life. There are quite a few steps to get up to the house but it does get easier as time goes on !

We spent an early spring week holiday in an apartment at this beautiful place with the most fantastic view over Positano. Our hosts are a charming Italian family where every member met us with friendliness and obliging to make our stay a success. Which is evidently was :-)) Rifugio degli Dei is newly renovated with all modern conveniences and still with respect of the charm and atmosphere of the old farm house. The house is situated in a classical terrace garden high over Positano. In the garden the family grows vegetables and fruit: lemons, oranges, pumpkins, olives, potatoes, tomatoes etc. and we enjoyed tasting all. The Rifugio fully lives up to the name as a quiet and tranquil place with great nature only a few steps away. Positano with shops and restaurants is within walking distance. We also went for excursions to Vesuvius and Pompei which both were great experiences within reach on a day trip. Our week at Rifugio degli Dei fully lived up to our greatest expectations.

This was the first trip to Italy for my twin sister and me. After spending a week in Rome and Naples, we were charmed by the Amalfi coast, and loved staying at the family run Rifugio Degli Dei. The home made breakfasts were delicious and the family extremely welcoming. The best part of our day was coming back to the Rifugio Degli Dei and enjoying the beautiful view.

This Rifugio was fantastic! The Family Fusco is one of the nicest families we have ever met in Italy and our apartment was extremely beautiful and super clean. The Fusco family goes the extra distance to make sure you will have a wonderful time in this paradise. We traveled with our two children (age 9 & 10) and they loved it too.
